Scott LaRose
"
The Blair Bitch Project" is Scott's first foray into directing. That is, of course, if you don't count the endless calvacade of Super 8 shorts he made as a fat, pimply, 14 year-old, and he would have continued to make more but, unfortunately, Scott was bitten by the stand-up comedy bug at age 20 and never touched his Bell & Howell camera again.
Scott is nationally acknowledged as one of the funniest, most outrageous stand-ups working the clubs today. You can still tune into Comedy Central and see his half-hour special on "Lounge Lizards" or watch him break the record for making the most people laugh (5 ) on "Make Me Laugh".
But stand-up comedy is only one little feather in his Scott's headress. You might've seen him "acting" in T.V. shows like, "Seinfeld" where he played Greg, the sweaty gym guy who catches George peeing in the shower or his other tube appearances on shows like "Melrose Place" , "Doogie Howser" , "L.A. Law", "Northern Exposure" and most recently on "The Jamie Foxx Show" as Sandy Davis , the gay dog trainer.
On the bigger screen you might've seen him in"Booty Call" as Singh, the hilarious 7-11 worker or as Dickie Diamond in Adam Sandler's first movie called "Going Overboard" or you can rent him in "Desert Steel" with David Naughton and as one of the amped-up sports announcers in Disney's "The Sixth Man" and recently as Desipio, in Ron Howard's "ED T.V..
Scott is also a gifted writer and has scripted a T.V. pilot called "Special Defects" and a killer movie that's described as a "Swingers" meets" Scream" entitled "Comedy Hell".
For now..... it's back to directing.
